the yours truly™ program
Close the gap between knowing yourself and being yourself.
Stop abandoning your needs to keep the peace.
Rewire your nervous system to speak your truth, set firm boundaries, and build deep, drama-free relationships.
Get out of the self-awareness trap.
Because you’ve done the therapy. You’ve read the books. You have immense self-awareness.
But the moment you interact with your spouse, boss, mom, or kids, that clarity vanishes. Suddenly, you’re performing, people-pleasing, snapping, or wanting to disappear.
That’s because insight isn’t integration, my dear. You don’t need more information—you need a nervous system-level shift to stop living from old relational survival patterns.

The program is designed to be completed in 3 months, with weekly email reminders to keep you learning at a steady pace.
Though the videos are mostly between 5-10 minutes each, they are dense with information and are designed to build upon one other.
I’d recommend setting aside an hour or so each week to complete a collection of lessons and the corresponding handouts and worksheets to help you integrate your learning. -
You will have access to the videos and resources for four months. I’ve designed it this way to encourage you to commit to the learning that will allow you to change your old patterns in a short amount of time.

Yours Truly doesn’t run in formal cohorts, but from time to time, Jay offers live Integration Calls where members can come together for Q&A, practice, and deeper connection around the material. You’ll also have access to optional 1:1 coaching for individualized guidance.

Yes—and you’ve got options.
You can work with one of two expert coaches personally trained in the Yours Truly curriculum, or—when Jay has availability—she takes on a small number of 1:1 clients. You can learn more here.
If you choose to work 1:1 with Jay, the money you paid for the course can be applied to the coaching package fee. -

Maybe! Some of my students have had success getting this program reimbursed through their employer’s wellness or learning & development budget. Even if your company doesn’t have a formal policy, it’s worth asking. Want help on how to ask? Click here for a proposal template to send to your manager.

No! Yours Truly™ addresses ALL kinds of relationships. People aged 21 to 72 have taken Yours Truly, some of whom were primarily there to work through their relationship with themselves, others who wanted to change the dynamic in their marriages, and some who wanted to change how they related with their kids or grandkids or friends.
It’s also true that people take Yours Truly™ to address how they show up at work, either as a manager leading a team, as a self-employed person risking putting themselves out there in more authentic ways, or as someone who wants to feel more confident and resilient in their role and to find more work-life balance. The cool thing is, no matter where you feel most stuck or tripped up relationally, you will learn concepts and skills that will help you shift for the better in every relationship you have.
And if you do happen to be single, when you do find yourself dating again, you’ll have a stellar set of skills that will help you to build a healthy romantic relationship from day one or to discern early on if it’s best to just move on.

I’ve been coaching a long time, and though it’s true that everyone has a unique story, I’ve found that there are definitely patterns of how our stuck places developed, and that many of us have the same blindspots and maladaptive behaviors that lead to the same kinds of outcomes. In fact, I developed this course precisely because I was doing the exact same things over and over again with my 1:1 clients and it worked with everyone. So while you are unique, your problems likely aren’t. And that’s good news! It means I’ve helped people like you before, and know how to get you unstuck.

I know this isn’t a question, but I hear this a lot and you might be thinking this after reading the answer to the previous question. I get that being busy can feel like a very real barrier. But to that I’d say if you’re busy now, will there ever be a truly “right” time when you’re not busy? It’s likely that your extreme busy-ness is sourced from a way of relating that leaves out your needs, puts everyone else first and keeps you go, go, going. The way to stop that isn’t to push off this type of learning, it’s to commit to it and watch your schedule change because of the new skills you have.
